  1. ok thanks, i just did that and now i see 10 PM states in ioreg. i also generate an uiac.aml file for my ports and usb power properties injected but i still cannot make my usb3.0 lexar ssd drive to work! what else can i check? it works in my windows10 partition and in real macs ... debug_3998.zip
  2. well, after inquiring about USB3.0, I was told: my ioreg shows I haven't even implemented CPU PM I haven't implemented USB power properties well, i have no idea what that means. so i kept reading and found i should have a ssdt.aml file generated with ssdtPRGen.sh script , inside patched folder in clover EFI and that oem tables should not be droped for a haswell cpu like mine. and that i install an AppleIntelInfo.kext and also look for x86platformplugin inside CPU0 with ioreg. so: should i put ssdt.aml file in my clover patched folder? should i change option in clover to disable drop OEM? i didnt find x86platformplugin with ioreg inside CPU0... 3. i dont have one. instead i added another partition to install windows10 and dual boot. everything is working fine in windows and the usb3.0 drive is working too. also, if i connect the drive to the left usb port, which is usb2, it works fine. so i think it has to be something else. what if i update the bios? i have A04 but theres an update to A10. does it breaks my dsdt patches? my sierra installation is working pretty good right now after i added a 2gb ram card, so now it has 6gb. i'm going to try to hide partitions in clover boot, so it only shows windows and mac to choose from but let me unhide recovery using F3. i ordered a DW1702 wifi+bt card. so as soon it arrives, i will have a very compatible hackintosh =) Thanks to Jake Lo, i have working audio with earphones and mic, sleep, graphics HD4400, latam keyboard, usb2.0 and nearly all usb3.0 plus trackpad. just need to find an hdmi cable to test it with audio. After that, i will make a post with all the files i used.
  4. anyway, thanks a lot for your help Jake!
  5. yes. i only have two us3.0 devices. one is a kingston data traveler 3.0 64gb usbkey and this lexar workflow d256 hd. this is where i used to keep my time machine backup. i used to have a sierra desktop hackintosh that i built with the correct parts and the gigabyte mobo was working fine with this external hd. and if i connect it to an iMac or other real mac, it works.
  6. so far so good! Jake i feel so happy right now, i've been sitting all day since your first post today jejejeje just this strange thing with the external usb3.0 hd. what could it be? if i connect it to the usb2.0 port, it works. is there anything i should take a look?
  7. ok, laptop is booting now! =) guess what? audio is working finally! with appleALC kext but now i lost full video, the translucent part, i forgot its name. it looks choppy now. used to work fine. somehow voodoops2controller works fine only from SLE. if i just leave it in Other, like 10min from booting, i loose the trackpad but keyboard continues to work. backlight controller i think it is not working. its only all bright or dark. battery manager is showing correctly. when i insert an usb3.0 kingston datatraveler memory, it shows now in system profile under Bus USB 3.0 but still no go for the external ssd hd. usb 2.0 ports working fine. so, whats next? =) video CI/QE ? what other patches i need? Jake, again, thanks a lot for your help....
  8. ok i can boot doing the drop tables thing. i lost keyboard and trackpad, don't know why. video looked fine. so maybe as you say, its something with the patching. what else do we do? =)
  9. yes i did. i can boot without dsdt patches and just basic kexts but i cannot find a dsdt and ssdt files that can work. im gonna play with kexts again in LE , SLE and Others folder. what else can you think i can do? thanks again for your help ps. im doing your last recommendations, will post in a few minutes
  10. it gives me the same error. in config.plist - SortedOrder i deleted: SSDT-1.aml and SSDT-2.aml. in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/PATCHED i deleted those files, then reboot and i got the same problem.
  11. still can't boot. it stays at the apple logo and the progress bar doesn't move... same error, waiting for AppleACPICPU
  12. of course, here it is thanks origin.zip
  13. well, it doesn't boot. but no kp. last thing it shows is busy timeout[0] 60secs kext wait: AppleACPICPU any suggestions? thanks
  14. thanks! i'm gonna try those files right now...
  15. ok adding fakepciid_xhcimux didn't help with external ssd disk. changed audio layout to 13 but still not working . should i try another layout? thanks for helping me with the patching.
  16. ok, audio is working partially with VoodooHDA 2.8.8. connecting headphones doesn't route audio to headphones. have to change source output manually. audio very low. bad quality audio with headphones, like if it is missing something, like when you don't plug it in fully and voices sounds far. but hey! i have audio at least. i tried patching dsdt as everyone recommends, but i still can't. lets forget about screensaver arabesque. its not that important obviously. do you have an idea about usb3.0? thanks again
  17. - does system have nvidia card? No nvidia card. - disable Inject Nvidia ; update FakePCIID.kext to match same version of FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext disabled; kexts updated; rehabman-fakepciid2017-1215 version. - Remove NullCPUPowermanagement.kext removed from /L/E. - you don't have Audio kext install, so don't expect audio to work - try adding AppleALC.kext, you already have Lilu.kext added applealc kext release v1.2.2 . No sound - sleep might require DSDT/SSDT patching; What version of BIOS are you running? bios version A04 - Activity Monitor app crashing is due to older version of ACPIBatteryManager, make sure to use latest installed rehab man-battery-2017-1001. Working OK now.! - Switch CrsActiveConfig to 0x67, might need it to run unsigned kexts Changed to 0x67. Screensaver not working yet. will reboot again and test. trying VoodooHDA 2.8.8 to test audio.
  18. ok! let me try that. will report in a few minutes Thanks!
  19. Hi, i request your help to fix my installation. I installed Sierra 10.12 and then updated to 10.12.6 via AppStore in my DELL Inspiron 5542: HD4400 with i3 at 1.7GHz with tag code FS17K22. working: HD4400 graphics ( CL problems) keyboard and trackpad webcam wifi usb DWA-131 not working: Audio (seems to be ALC255) USB3.0: if using an external SSD hard disk (LEXAR Workflow D256) doesn't get recognized. Kingston DataTraveler 3.0 64Gb recognized but working slow. both working in usb2.0 port. not installed: Bluetooth not tested yet: HDMI video / audio card reader. After many days reading posts about patching and trying a lot of kexts, i give up and kindly request your help. 1.- I cannot make audio to work. 2.- i cannot patch correctly my usb ports and fix usb3 not working properly. 3.- sleep / restore not working fine 4.- Activity Monitor app crashes if clicking on Energy tab. 5.- Arabesque screesaver not working (CL problem?) i'm attaching reporting files as requested. I'll wait for your instructions and help, thanks debug_30274.zip
