  1. yes, it's a Latitude E6520 with BIOS A19 i7 2620 @2.7GHz Intel HD Graphics 8 GB RAM 256 GB SSD
  2. what about 6520 on El Cap, i've done everything that is said here : https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=54632 using the : ----------------------- Legacy - GUID Scheme - See Note1 below - SandyBridge E6420.zip ------------------------ but still it doesn't work, when I boot from my USB installer I don't se anything connected to the SATA port of my computer (and yes, I did a BIOS default + data as AHCI step). Vincent. ::edit:: exact spec is : Latitude E6520 with BIOS A19 i7 2620 @2.7GHz Intel HD Graphics 8 GB RAM 256 GB SSD
  3. Hi mergesoft, https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8824-i-cant-adjust-my-volume-on-e6520/ You are the only one on this forum I have found with a E6520 on El Cap. would you help me to get my system running ? I've followed this guide https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=54632 using generic EFI folder + E6420.zip (https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=54632) I the get the installer running but I'm stuck and cannot install El Cap. because my internal SATA SSD is not detected by the OS (and disk utility). I've then tried to replace de EFI folder by your EFI folder but it then kernel panic when my El cap. USB installer boots. any idea for me ? (yes my BIOS SATA is set to AHCI and my BIOS is the latest (A19) )
