  1. Today I could not get anything to boot... no Sierra, no backup partition, no Windows ... But now my hackbook seems to run perfectly again - the solution to the problem: I killed Windows10 !
  2. Would it be useful to reinstall these kexts (SLE_optional) from your Sierra-Pack # 3? Tonight, the Windows partition did not cause any trouble ... maybe tomorrow again
  3. Hello, since I have updated to 10.12.4, the first boot of the day takes round about 3 min. When I restart a 2nd, 3rd, etc. time its normal again until the next day. It takes a break for ca. 1 min at this point: and at this point:
  4. Wow, what a cool trick ... it works ! Thanks! For that I am probably too stupid .... I try it perhaps tonight...
  5. I've got the AR5B91 Wifi card and it works perfectly (oob) under Sierra like El Capitan! A sound problem still: the headphone output does not work, in the System Preferences / Sound there is also no selection under Sierra... ... as under El Capitan
  6. Ok, I read somewhere here the AR5B91 might work with Sierra… like this one here for example ? would this card work oob and with El Capitan? http://www.ebay.de/itm/322099136324 For the trackpad I take Dr Hurt's driver and exchanged the Prefpane from 10.11.6 / System / Library / Prefpane - it seems to work so far.
  7. Hello, I have updated to Sierra using Hervé's Guide, many thanks for that! https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8883-dell-latitude-e6230-with-i5-3340m-hd4000-and-1366x768-lcd-mavericksyosemiteel-capitan/?p=59096 As far as I can see everything works fine, except Wifi. I use an old imac card, which works fine under EC in the WWAN slot. Is the card supported under Sierra? Trackpad is working, but not perfect. The system settings/trackpad is empty.
  8. Hervé wrote here… https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8883-dell-latitude-e6230-with-i5-3340m-hd4000-and-1366x768-lcd-mavericksyosemiteel-capitan/ …the VGA output works „with patched AppleIntelFrameBufferCapri kext“, maybe someone has this Kext for the E6230 / i5-3340M / El Capitan? (the capri-kext from "E6230-i5-3340M_HD4000_EC-Pack_v2.zip" does not work for me)
  9. Yet another small problem (or should I open a new thread for this?): If I want to connect the E6230 with my phone, I can see it in the WLAN-list, but not in the bar at the top. The connection works fine, but I have always to enter the name and password manually before. Does anyone know a solution for one-click on the top bar?
  10. Wow, it works immediately! Thank you so much! Great forum here!
  11. Hello everybody, I installed EC 10.11.5 on my E6230 using Hervé's Guide https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8883-dell-latitude-e6230-with-i5-3340m-hd4000-and-1366x768-lcd-mavericksyosemiteel-capitan/?p=59096 (Many thanks for that!) and almost everything works perfectly, except Bluetooth. The device is recognized in the USB-list but not in "Bluetooth". My E6230 is the same as in Hervé's Guide (Core i5-3340M 2.7GHz, 4Go DDR3-1600, Intel HD 4000, etc.) except that I am on EC 10.11.5 and the Bios is A09. Does the "BroadcomBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport.kext" be changed in the Extra folder under 10.11.5?
