Story: Installed OSX 10.11.5 with the Clover Guide for Dell Latitude Problem: VGA out /Dock-DVI not working. Which kext do I need?
-
I can't get rid of it with sudo kextunload - gives me the error: cannot open CFBundle. In System Profiler only VoodooHDA is loaded - but I was not able to install the AppleHDA_IDT that came with the E6230 Bootpack (gave me errors even when repaired the permissions). I do wonder why this happens... When I do a fresh install (following the El Capitan clover Guide) - should I use the new AppleHDA_IDT coming with 10.11.04 (I am installing 10.11.5) ?

Hi there, I am running OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan on my E6230 with IDT 92HD93 Soundchip. I installed VoodooHDA288, AppleHDA and ApplaHDA_IDT. The Speakers themselves are working with VoodooHDA. Problem: When I adjust the volume with the hardware-keys, OS X shows the onscreen change of the volume, but it is not transferred to the speakers - I cannot control the speaker volume with the buttons or software, it is always on 100%. Thanks for your help, appreciate it!

Hi, Newbie question: How did you flash the bios? (First install Windoes, then flash or is there a faster method?) EDIT: That is how it is done: Upgrading with a FreeDOS USB driveFollow the directions here to create a FreeDOS USB drive: http://chtaube.eu/computers/freedos/bootable-usb/ After you've done that: 1. Eject the USB drive, then re-insert it so you can see the new FreeDOS file system. 2. Copy your BIOS update file to the drive. 3. Reboot, press F12 for the one-time boot menu, and boot from the USB Storage Device. 4. Choose "fdos". 5. Choose "4 - Load FreeDOS without drivers." 6. Execute the BIOS update.

I used this Tutorial: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/ Im at Installation Step 13. - it wont reboot without this kernel panic. So I am not able to transfer my clover EFI files or is there a way? Edit: Which is the SELECT-Key? (German Keyboard)

Hi, installed OSX10.11.5 El Capitan on my E6230 (i5 3320m, HD4000, HDD, 6GB RAM). The Installation went flawless (just some graphics errors due to the A15 bios). But when I want to reboot through clover to my Macintosh HDD, I get this panic: Is anyone able to identify the cause of this? Thank you, First-time-hackintosher
