Is there any way to make the mic port work? the E6420 uses a single 3.5mm port for both headphones and microphone, while headphones work on my build mic doesn't seem to be detected.

Would a AR5B195 work fine on the E6420? i checked the supported list thread and it seems to work fine on Sierra, however i've seen people having issues with it (i don't mind things like Airdrop not working, however signal drops or random disconnects are a whole different story). I can't spend much on it, so the DW1550 is a big no for me (~$30 for the DW1550 vs ~$5 for the AR5B195). Also, thanks a lot for your guide, thanks to you i was able to install Hackintosh for the first time.
