Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 12, 2017 USB issue. Chameleon and Clover files differ. Attach your Clover folder for review. Mainly, you need the USB_injector in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other, SMBIOS must be set to MBP7,1 See here for Config file
alex_step
I have tried the Bootpack_clover_support - here is EFI folder for review https://www.dropbox.com/s/e75jzhb2nxz52vs/EFI1.zip?dl=0 I have tried the EFI folder from here here it is for review https://www.dropbox.com/s/68511mnwpunjula/EFI2.zip?dl=0 Adding the last version of USBInjectAll.kext to EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/ from https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-usb-inject-all/downloads/changed nothing Generating SMBIOS as MBP7.1 in Clover Configurator did not help also By the way, this is PP18L model of D630

alex_step
This works!!!!!! Thank You very much! But booting to continue install screen after first restart took about 15 minutes and there are too many Error/Warning/Notice messages I think I may need to try to use only USB_Injector.kext from the files You gave... Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 13, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2017 Yes, the USB_Injector plus the SMBIOS set to MBP7,1 or MBP5,1 made all the difference. Do you have old SATA HDD or SSD?
alex_step
SATA HDD, but I never seen the problems like this for this reason (I have two Hackintosh desktop computers with HDD - 10.12.6(Gigabyte Z77-DS3H (rev1.1 F9) i7-3770K) and 10.8.6(Asus P5QD Turbo Core 2 Quad Q9300) The old version EFI (got from Youtube) works fine when USB_Injector added. Even when SMBIOS set to MBP5.1 Now it boots in 73sec and it's fine This topic can be closed Thank You, Jake, ones again
