TheRobster5555
Hello, I have a D630 I'm planning on hackintoshing soon, but I want to know if a Broadcom wireless card will work (specifically, the BCM94321MCP1 P3) If it won't work, I kept my Dell wireless card, so I can use that if neccesary. Thanks for any insight!

TheRobster5555
I visited the page and was unable to find mine, but i did find the dell wireless equivalent, the 1505, which uses the same BCM4321 chip as my broadcom one, would it still work? Administrators Hervé Posted October 17, 2017 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2017 If that totally eluded you, note that it's the chip that matters...
TheRobster5555
I've been through that page a thousand times, and I don't know what to do with it or the wikidev page. P.S. no, my Broadcom Card did not work OOB, nor was there anything to try to look up on the supported wifi cards page...
Administrators Hervé Posted December 7, 2017 Administrators Share Posted December 7, 2017 Install the lspci package as detailed in the "Software->3rd party apps" forum section and check the listed wifi device or use DPCIManager. Post the result.

Administrators Hervé Posted December 8, 2017 Administrators Share Posted December 8, 2017 There was a mistake in our inventory for the DW1505 card. I'm sorry about that. The entry has been updated. BCM4321 (14e4:4328) is part of the Broadcom chipsets for which Apple dropped support in Sierra. See the fresh thread I posted here on the matter.
