pilgrim
I have a D410 lying around and I'd like to go to 10.5.8. I have 10.5.7 using iFail, but I'd like to update to 10.5.8 in order to install a more recent version of Safari and iTunes. I managed to install 10.5.7 successfully and put a guide on Insanelymac, but the site seems to be down and I can't access it. I haven't been able to find my install settings for the D410, though I remember it was tricky. Has anyone used the install method from osxlatitude? I'll try to update to 10.5.8 thru iFail, but some reports on doing so are not very positive. The 10.5.7 I have is almost flawless, so I'm reluctant to screw it up right now via update. If necessary, I'd install 10.5.8 iFail directly, if I can find it online. P.S. anyone know what happened to insanelymac?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted January 9, 2012 Administrators Share Posted January 9, 2012 d410 is p4 cpu you probably need a kernel that supports p4 plus some gma kext or edits for gma915 graphics... edp works on machines that have similar hardware as a intel mac.
