Installed no problems on Dell Latitude D830 with Core2Duo and nVidia Quadro NVS 135M - both Yosemite and El Capitan run awesome but then I installed Sierra nice but I suddenly have NO Wifi but Ethernet works fine ?  My question is did the good old rotten Apple people change something or what as I am banging my head on this one.  Any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks !

:-o  Dam in fact its a Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11a/b/g (rev 01)so likely a no go  :? is it possible to rebrand it?

This laptop is just a tester anyway but could you recommend one that would make an awesome rig in the near future to run High Sierra on without effort.  Thanks

BCM4312 is one of those cards no longer supported; there is no workaround. It's not a matter of (re)branding, there are no drivers for those Brooadcom chips and older drivers do not work under Sierra.
