Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2018 did you remove ApplePS2Controller? Hmm, perhaps the VoodooPS2Controller I linked has no support for latest Alps v7
Atomius Tech
I did remove the ApplePS2Controller. As far as I could tell, the error was linked to a key not being able to be registered
Atomius Tech
Alright, so I installed this one: https://github.com/douglas/OS-X-ALPS-DRIVER . It has compatibility with alps 7. I installed that kext into s/l/e using finder, then I executed the following commands: sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext #I was in the Hack_Tools directory already ./permissions.sh After doing all of that, I didn't get the same error as I did last time, but this time, nothing really happened. Like, I still have the caps lock problem, and my trackpad is being recognized as a mouse rather than a trackpad.
Atomius Tech
Forget about the keyboard and trackpad issue, I got that fixed. The only thing that needs to be fixed is mainly the battery and fan problems, once that's fixed, I could use macOS as my daily driver
