[SOLVED] E7250 High Sierra - Built it screen issues

Hello everybody!

I have a Dell Latitude E7250. I managed to install High Sierra 10.13.2 (I will upgrade to 10.13.6 soon)

 

Everything is fine (WIFI no, but I know the reason). I have an issue with the laptop built-in screen. Most of the time that I switch on my laptop it doesn't work. It stays off. It's not detected by the OS. Sometimes (I don't know the reason) it works perfectly. 

Issue was during installation too.

During boot it works perfectly, when the apple appears the screen goes off

External HDMI display is always perfectly detected and 100% working.

I can't attach any file because I don't have enough space left.

Update: Closing the Lid and reopening it the built-in screen magically starts

Try updating the bootpack with this, goes into /EFI/Clover

Generate a new serial number with Clover Configurator so you have yourself a unique key than anyone else.

after first reboot: stucked on LEGACY SHIM

after rebooting again it started...same problem with the black screen (closing and opening the lid it works) but now it keeps the brightness (it was always at 20% after reboot, now kept 100%)

Boot to Clover, press F4 and then F2. Continue to OSX

Run and attach debug files.

You didn't use the files I linked above, goes into /EFI/Clover. Replace, not merge

Also install latest Clover with the following settings:

• Install for UEFI booting only
• Install Clover in the ESP
• Drivers64UEFI\AppleImageCodec-64
• Drivers64UEFI\AppleKeyAggregator-64
• Drivers64UEFI\AppleUITheme-64
• Drivers64UEFI\DataHubDxe-64
• Drivers64UEFI\FirmwareVolume-64
• Drivers64UEFI\FSInject-64
• Drivers64UEFI\SMCHelper-64
• Drivers64UEFI\ApfsDriverLoader-64
• Drivers64UEFI\AptioMemoryFix-64

Finally add to Drivers64UEFI\HFSPlus.efi (not included in Clover installer)

deleted totally efi folder

reinstalled clover (latest version from sourceforge) with settings you suggested

Deleted kext, acpi and config.plist inside efi folder

now system doesn’t boot
