Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 20, 2018 Author Moderators Share Posted December 20, 2018 Describe the issue with sleep. It'll sleep but won't wake? According to my Clover guide for 9020, you need Legacy Option ROMs enabled in the BIOS and Darkwake=No in Config file With those 2 settings, sleep / wakes on Sierra and Mojave, but not High Sierra. theandrewgordon
I went through and ran the terminal commands from your guide regarding disable hibernate, and confirmed that darkwake=no and bios has Legacy Option Roms. When I put it to sleep and then wake it up, what I see is with a flashlight, (see last shot), of a working computer no backlight... if that makes sense. Thanks for the feedback. Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 20, 2018 Author Moderators Share Posted December 20, 2018 Hmm, I wonder if AIO works like a laptop? Give this a try. Add SSDT-PNLF.aml to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched Add the Fixup.kext to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Reboot Since I don't know if this works, I don't know what the key combo to dim or raise brightness. You'll have to experiment a bit. brightness.zip
theandrewgordon
That didn't change anything. when it wakes it is not giving power to the backlight. Thanks! I will keep poking around. if you have any other thoughts, I am game! :)
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 20, 2018 Author Moderators Share Posted December 20, 2018 try this from terminal sudo nvram -c
theandrewgordon
ok, that didnt change anything, also it looks like it is waking itself up after a second (per the light on the side and the sound of the fans...
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 21, 2018 Author Moderators Share Posted December 21, 2018 Remove the SSDT-PNLF.aml and kext since they are not working. I read another Dell AIO has sleep /wake working with Darkwake=2 Give that a try, if still not working and waking instantly, then run the following in terminal and post output log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"
