[SOLVED] E5450 - Panic error, stolen memory size - mojave (with Intel HD Graphics 5500 (Broadwell GT2))

Hi,

 

I've a dell e5450 laptop with intel hd 5500 inbuilt graphics. While installing Mohave, I ran in to the stolen memory size issue. I tried to patch it, but it doesn't work. Can someone provide the clover files for me?

My WiFi driver is not detected, but Ethernet is working. Any fix for that?

It would be easier to help you if we know what wifi it has....

If it's an Intel, forget it, it's not supported. See here for a list of supported/ unsupported cards.

Personally, I have DW1560 working quite well.

I'm currently on Mojave, how can I know which WiFi I have?

 

Is it possible to use WiFi dongle?

Use app like DPCIManager.app

This is the output from the DPCIManager. I think I have the Intel one. Any hope?

No hope for Intel

As for dongle, just read the thread I linked above. It has a few working USB dongle but might cause sleep issue or not waking from sleep.
