thatsmokeydude
If I have both displays connected it only shows up on the displayport. If I just use HDMI it works fine. I've also tried plugging them in after the system has booted on both ports - nothing. with both displays connected - prefers displayport.ioreg just hdmi with displayport unplugged.ioreg

thatsmokeydude
No change. I generated a new ioreg. Maybe I'm only meant to use one lol. It's not a dealbreaker. I do appreciate the help. ioreg.ioreg
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 1, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 1, 2020 Have you tried, connecting the second monitor after it had booted?
thatsmokeydude
I have tried it both ways. Booting with HDMI and then plugging in DP and the other way around. It's not recognized at all. The display manager doesn't restart. It doesn't show up in ioreg. I also tried the above with my original config.plist and the two you'd modified for me. thatsmokeydude
No change. Still works individually, but not together, nor hotplugged. No signs of any change in ioreg in any state either.
