Tyl0 Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 Hello, I followed the Catalina guide for the e7270 and used the bootpack from I get an error when I try to boot the mac OS Install in clover, it pops up "Error loading kernel cache (0x7) Boot failed; will sleep for 10 seconds before exiting..." Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 22, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2020 Did you set the BIOS according to the guide? What's the source of your Installer? Distro or vanilla? Forgot, you need to remove SMCHelper-64.efi as well. Only needed when pairing with FakeSMC.kext. Might cause issue if use with VirtualSMC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tyl0 Posted March 22, 2020 Author Share Posted March 22, 2020 For the BIOS, I have put all on/off all the settings required For the macOS Catalina, I did it by using the terminal with the download image from the store For Clover, I used the the newest pkg (r5103) I also removed SMCHelper aswell, still same error.
