wellingtonsa Posted July 10, 2020 Share Posted July 10, 2020 Hey Everyone, I would want install the OSX Catalina on my Dell Inspirion 15 5000 series 5548, I saw that it's possible, but I don't know how prepare the pendrive to install and how to install the Kexts and so on. Anybody has a steps-to-steps or some thing like that to do it? Specifications: Model: Dell Inspirion 15 5000 series 5548 CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz Motherboard: Dell 0KM6G2 BIOS: 1.10.0 Graphics (1) : Intel UHD Graphics 620 (Whiskey Lake) Graphics (2): Nvidia GM108M [GeForce MX130] (Will be unused) Thanks for all! Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 10, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2020 There are existing bootpacks here You can follow my Catalina Clover guide here to create the installer After that, you can either install Clover or OC, both EFI are available in the 1st link Just replace the entire EFI folder. As for you Wifi, it probably has an unsupported device...perhaps Intel? You'll need to replace it with a supported device like DW1560, DW1830 or DW1820A.
