geeland96
I've just installed snow leopard on my HP G62 laptop, and all is good apart from awful graphics, and I can't get Internet! Does anyone know if the problem of Internet would be solved with one of these?... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HP-G62-A29SA-Wifi-Card-593836-001-/150813186759?pt=UK_Computing_Other_Computing_Networking&hash=item231d2a9ac7#ht_500wt_922 Cheers I'm new to all this stuff, but eager to learn so would appreciate the help! Administrators Hervé Posted December 2, 2012 Administrators Share Posted December 2, 2012 You may have an Intel wireless card and that is not supported. You would need a different brand such as Broadcom (highly recommended) or Atheros. There are 802.11g or 802.11n models available; it just depends on what you want or what your access point can support. Vendors like Dell, HP or many others rebrand Broadcom cards under their own name, but the hardware remains Broadcom.
