nfs0623
Hi All - I have a Dell Latitude 5490 working very well with Big Sur minus the standard issues with wifi and trackpad buttons. The USB ports on right and left work perfectly, both USB A and C. However the USB in the rear does not work. I've tried USBMap tool but nothing is recognised when inserted. I've confirmed the port works in Windows. Any ideas?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 26, 2021 Moderators Share Posted January 26, 2021 If you have an existing USBPort.kext or USBMap.kext enabled, disable it. Then enable port limit patch + USBInjectall.kext Now you can can usb USBMap or Hackintool.app to map out your ports
nfs0623
I figured out my issue; the USB port in the rear is dead. I tried again in Windows and it's a hardware issue. Thanks for your response
