Asus B250m-Plus (Skylake desktop): unable to boot after upgrading from Big Sur to Monterey

I’ll have to use proptree in window to edit the config file

Gonna rock big sur till all the bugs are worked out in the new beta. Have made a nice time machine back up  going so I’ll try again a month and if not roll back if needed. Thanks for all you help

Update 

I swapped to clover and got to the Home Screen and then it blacks out.

any ideas?

what happens if you close the screen and open it again after it blacks out on the main screen? if you shine light on the screen do you still have images showing but with no backlight?

Funny I got it to work on my clover EFI but I get a black screen then turn the monitor off and on and bam it comes on
