kitokian
Hello, Is there a way to install OS X 10.7 on a d430 without the usb installation but instead using a burned DVD? I still want to use your EDP and bootpack but I don't want to use the myhack approach (usb method). Instead, if possible, I'd like to combine everything and burn it to a DVD as an image instead. I simply don't have access to a real mack or hackintosh so I'm kind of out of luck. It seems like it would be possible to do this via dvd however. I downloaded the .dmg file (approximately 3.6 GB) so this should fit easily on a 1-layer dvd (max 4.7 GB) + chameleon and any other files. Thanks for the help. Administrators Hervé Posted December 13, 2012 Administrators Share Posted December 13, 2012 No, there's no such method that we support here. Bear in mind that you need a (legit') retail version to succeed with an installation. If you're looking for an "easy" way to install OS X, that does not require an existing Mac or Hackintosh to create the installer, then turn to ModCD + Retail Snow Leopard to start with. Afterwards, the world is your oyster...
