bobdamnit
Good point. Don't know how I missed that.
Antoine
Haaaa, you haven't done your homework deep/long enough... You cannot install Lion 10.7.4 directly. Or you encounter problems. It's been mentionned several times on the forum before. You need a retail version like 10.7 or 10.7.2, at least something no higher than 10.7.3. Once you've installed one of those, our EDP tool will help you update to 10.7.5 smoothly, but, even then, make sure to download and use the "Combo update", do not update via Apple Menu -> Software update. Oh, I see. I paid for my Lion, as it happens -- it's running on my MacPro. Anyway, I borrowed a 10.7.0 from a buddy (early adopter) and rebuilt the boot-stick, and I got to the OS X installer (after I disabled the wifi). Now I just have to set up a drive to install to. I see pretty detailed instructions around here, with downloads and all, to help me out, help get the wifi going. Thanks for the help, all. I 'll let you know how it goes. Edit: This is "solved" as a boot-stick issue -- do you guys mark threads "Solved" like the fine folk over at the Arch Linux site?
