Eason K.
Hi all, I have a Dell inspiron 5520 i5. I saw it on the compatible list and borrow it from my friend. It comes with AMD graphics card. I used the follow command but still stuck in USBF errors. cpus=1 npci=x2000 -v -x UseKernelCache=No GraphicsEnabler=No USBBusFix=Yes Does anyone know how to solve the USBF issue? Thanks
EMlyDinEsH
Does it has HD4000 GPU or only AMD GPU? the model we have in the EDP has HD4000 GPU along with AMD, but AMD GPU is not gonna work since its Dynamically switched GPU by software. So, only HD4000 is usable in this model. If you have HD4000 GPU, then try to use the boot flags "-x -v PCIRootUID=0/1 GraphicsEnabler=No", also add the attached kexts to Extra/Extetnsions of myhack and fix permissions. EMlyDinEsH
Did you copy the kexts I sent to myhack Extra/Extentions usb and fixed permissions? If you did that then will not get waiting for root device and also try to plug in USB in USB2.0 ports if you have.
