Hi All,

Figured I'd introduce myself instead of just being a full-time lurker.

-Where you are from/where you live.

I'm from the Southern California area.

-How long you have used a hackint0sh (if this is your first time, state that you are new to this).

I've been using/tinkering with my hackint0sh for about 3-4 years. I started down this road with one of the old Kalyway 10.5.x distros.

-A brief summary of your experiences in hackint0shing (if any).

I started using the old distros on my current hackint0sh and switched over to using Conti's MyHack Installer 1.0 RC4.1 when I started to look at ways to upgrade from OSX 10.5 to 10.6. I'm now happily running 10.7 with MyHack Installer.

-What triggered your interest in hackint0sh.

I wanted to find a way to encode video faster than my G4 or C2Duo MacMinis or Macbook Air were able to at the time and so I began looking to see if there was a way to possibly dual boot my gaming PC and have OSX as an option. This has worked fantastically! I now have a MacBook Pro that can easily encode faster than my Hackint0sh, but I'd rather not commit my macbook to encoding video for hours and so my once gaming pc has turned into a permanent video encoding hackint0sh and my macbook is now my gaming pc.

-Your general computer skill level.

I'd say advanced. I can easily work my way around and repair hardware. I work as a technologist, but am a noob when it comes to programing. I also have no problem in nukeing my system if I horribly screw up and reinstalling my OS and then trying to figure out where I critically failed last time.

-List any technical experience you have in various operating systems and programming languages (if any).

I'm fairly good with Windows systems and OSX. I just started messing around with the server end of things for both Win and OSX. Occasionally I dable with Linux.

-If you have any talents/skills that you would like to offer to help the community (optional).

Sadly none :( Unless Conti or anyone else needs help planning an expedition somewhere. I will though help and contribute in the forums if I know a solution to a question being asked or will throw in my two cents if I have a similar problem.
