I built my hackint0sh in summer 2010 using myHack because I wanted a cheap & powerful computer to use Logic for digital audio. An equivalently specified Mac Pro would have cost $3000, so I saved about $2000, though that doesn't include the countless hours I spent getting my graphics card to work. I have no formal training with programming languages; I use google heavily for hackint0sh maintenance. Last year I installed Ubuntu for fun, and now I use it for everyday tasks. I use(d) my hackint0sh partitions for music production only [Note the past tense; both of my hackint0sh partitions have stopped booting without warning, so here I am].
