lerenoamp
System now working like a dream, thanks for your help Beta. For Pro Tools users out there, you may find this info useful: Once I installed Pro-Tools my system wouldn't boot unless in single-user mode. I removed Pro Tools and the system was fine again. If you experience this issue, install Pro Tools, but instead of allowing the forced restart when the install is finished, use Force Quit to shut down the installer. Then navigate to HDD/System/Library/Extensions/ and delete 'DigiDal.Kext' Repair permissions on the hard-drive with Disc Utility then restart. Works a treat.
