MegaTheezakje
Hey everyone, I tried several times to install SnowLeopard on my system with the guide that was posted here. Everytime the install stops with a kernel panic "failed to verify 10.6.3.intel.pkg". I am sure that I checked legacy kernel... Installing without optional drivers such as audio didn't work as well. My system: CPU:AMD Phenom X4 965 (stock) Mobo: Asus M5A97 (r2.0) Ram: 2x 4gb corsair xms3 1333mhz GPU:AMD XFX 6870 dual fan I will be grateful if someone can send me the solution or any information about it. Administrators Hervé Posted October 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 26, 2013 Are you using Nawcom's ModCD + a proper (i.e. legit) retail SL 10.6.3 DVD or image? Torrent downloads can be duff....

Yes "OSX86_ModCD-032311-151021" and sadly no its not a retail image. I got the image from a tutorial that did the same thing and even worked on fx cpu's. But if you're sure thats the problem I will probably buy a Snow Leopard cd.
