Guest dp
I just installed 10.6 via the D620SLV method. I updated my bootloader as shown here and ran the rebuild command. When rebooting at which point the screen should kick on it stays grey. If I plug in a second monitor I can see everything fine. Is there a way once in the os to see if there are any errors? dmesg seems to get filled up with crap so the juicy stuff gets pushed out and the kernel log doesn't seem to have anything useful. Guest dp
Are you using our EDP package ? Yes I downloaded the one at http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/a92b0/attachments/0dbea/Extra.zip The first time I selected "3" which didn't seem to run any commands. After looking at the build file it appears a "w" was needed. Both times resulted in a grey screen on the LCD.

Guest dp
what kinda machine do you have and what osx version did you install ? Latitude D820 installed 10.6 then installed 10.6.5 last night and 10.6.6 today. I also have wired ethernet via the BCM kext so I know the /Extra folder has at least some of the right files/configuration.
