Ins1ne
Hi, I trying install EDP with Mavericks to my laptop Dell Vostro 3560 (DV3560I32104500S), as i see it's supported in compatibility list. Specs: myHack 3.3.1 Intel Core i5-3210M (2.5 GHz) AMD Radeon HD7670 1GB 8 GB Memory ExpressCard/34 / 3 USB 3.0 / HDMI / VGA / LAN (RJ-45) I don't know what is motherboard, but AHCI enabled in BIOS. In docs says need usb 2.0, but i don't have one. Laptop previously has Ubuntu as OS, but HDD was formatted by GParted to NTFS. When trying install with MBR (by default) partition i got errors like: â€EHCI unable to take control from BIOSâ€, “Still waiting for root device†When i go by this steps http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/ to resolve problems. After using USBBusFix=Yes i got black screen and suggestions from myHack guide (like PciRoot=1) doesn't help. I tried change partition to GUID GPT and after update usb myHack installer for this get kernel panic (pics attached). Can anyone help me? P.S. Sorry for my bad english. Administrators Hervé Posted December 24, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 24, 2013 Well, it seems it does not like the PS2 kexts you're currently using. You should try another PS2 pack.

Administrators Hervé Posted December 24, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 24, 2013 1st of all, start by identifying the model of trackpad your laptop is fitted with: ALPS or other. Then you can use the relevant pack.
