wai Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 I have a D830 with NVidia graphics that works fine under 10.7.5 with one exception: screen sleep produces a bright white screen instead of turning off the backlight (black). This is NOT a panic or other problem. The machine wakes from this state just fine, It's simply not turning off the backlight. Screen saver starts up fine as well, but when the screen should go black, it goes white instead. Any ideas? This is a stock EDP install except the stock (broken!) VooDooHDA sound package has been replaced with the latest one that works fine (once I flipped the half-volume fix to on).
