NickolasDM
Hello, I have some doubts about the Fn, or, Function Keys on my SL 10.6.8 on a Dell D420. I've tried one on one key to see the function, and the ones i've discovered is the combine of Fn + F5 and Fn + 12, that decrease and increase brightness, respectively. So, if anyone know something about the Fn buttons and his functions (obviously), let me know. Cheers!
Administrators Hervé Posted April 30, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 30, 2014 Most Fn combinations work as per blue labels on keys, some don't do anything: Fn+End = mute on/mute off Fn+PgUp/PgDown = audio level Fn+Up/Down = brightness adjustment Fn+Left = auto brightness Fn+Esc (not F1) = sleep (make sure hibernate mode is set to 0 first) All Fn+NumPad keys work as labelled
