Administrators Hervé Posted June 5, 2014 Administrators Share Posted June 5, 2014 It would help to list the specifications of the machine. Can you use Terminal command lspci -nn and post the results? It appears you have no graphics acceleration at the moment...
Administrators Hervé Posted June 5, 2014 Administrators Share Posted June 5, 2014 Mmm, 'had a quick look at the Dell Latitude XT online documentation. It stipulates AMD RS600ME/SB600 chipset with integrated graphics Radeon X1250 and PATA/ATA66 ATI controller. Unless you can find support for that controller through some specific ATA kext, there's little chance to get your internal HDD supported. To top it all, I fear you'll probably never have graphics support for that ATI Radeon X1250 beyond Leopard or Snow Leopard (if at all supported in those). For your HDD, have a look here, here, here or here. To be honest, you'll probably find OS X on your Latitude XT to be a dead-end.
