Hello please help. I have a partially functional hackintosh. What I want fixed, more functional power management, hdmi for an external monitor, on board audio headphones and mic does not work and monitor dimming. If I can get those features to work I will be one happy camper. I installed it using Niresh's Maverick 10.9.0 distro, using legecy bios settings. I could not get the vanilla version to work because I don't know how to compile a mach_kernal. Using terminal. I am happy that I have full video acceleration with the HD 4600 intel graphics card and the touch pad is fully functional. I requested a sponsored dsdt file. I just need to know how to donate to the site.

You don't need to compile a kernel. With your Haswell platform, you just need the patched Haswell kernel and that's readily available.

Okay that is good to know. Can I just add this patched Haswell Kernel to the root directory of my HD or do I have to install it with Vanilla Maverick installation. What search phrase would yield me the quickest search results. Will this fix my problems with my hdmi, audio and screen brightness or is this a prerequest to fixing my problems. I tried using a MSI patched Kernel and it messed up my machine the last time. So I am hoping I won't have to time machine my hard drive again. One my thing I like to add I install my system with a patched bios in legacy bios mode and not Uefi.

I guess Niresh installed that patched kernel, so you might as well keep your installation as it is. With a vanilla build, you would simply overwrite your mach_kernel file at HDD's root by the patched one.

For the rest, well it all depends on the HW you have and you did not specify any of it (other than HD4600 graphics), so who knows?...
