Johann
Dear OSXLatituder, after 4 month and permanently working, i love it i have two issue's that not really work. I ndidn't find something here for fixing the problem that's why i posted now. 1) after working more or less two our's and i would like to listen to any sound the sound scratch. 2) If the Laptop goes in sleepmode and i have to start once again the mousepad goes totalyy crazy. If i used an external Mouse it runs fine. For both problems at least i have to reboot completly. It is of course not a No Go but maybe their is a solution for both problems. If you've used EDP, do not post your entire /Extra folder, only the following subset: Chameleon boot plist SMBios plist Extensions folder If you have a Bluetooth module, please indicate the model. Thanks.

Administrators Hervé Posted July 26, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 26, 2014 Ouh, that's a messy build! There are kexts that I've never even seen on a D Series nVidia (like that totally useless Intel FrameBuffer kext). 'will provide you with a proper and tuned up build in a few minutes... Administrators Hervé Posted July 26, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 26, 2014 There you are: replace your /Extra/Extensions + Boot plist + SMBIOS plist by those in the attached archive. you probably have PSMenu in /Library/LaunchAgents, delete it, it'll no longer be required because you'll now have native CPU and GPU power management. run myFix (quick) and reboot. if you have IDA enabled in BIOS, disable it (you have a Merom CPU). Tuned_Archiv.zip Use the attached HWMonitor app if you want to monitor CPU+GPU T°, speed, voltage, etc. It goes with the tuned FakeSMC you'll now have. HWMonitor.zip PS: you can safely update to 10.8.5.
Johann
Dear Hervè, thank you. I will see and test it and give a feedback. I'm not shure that i need the HWMonitor. For what is this important? Sorry is there a procedure how to update? All the best, Johann
Administrators Hervé Posted July 26, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 26, 2014 […] I'm not shure that i need the HWMonitor. For what is this important? […] Erm… read the post! For update: no procedure, update either through Apple Menu->Software update or through Apple's 10.8.5 combo update. It's entirely up to you.
