Dell Inspiron 1525 Bootpack

There doesn't seem to be a bootpack for the Dell Inspiron 1525, is there another model that's the same/similar?

Here's my hardware:

Model: PP29L
Motherboard: 0U990C
BIOS: A17
Chipset: Intel GM965
Memory: 3GB (1 x 2GB, 1 x 1GB) DDR2 667MHz (PC2-5300)
CPU (Socket P): Intel T5750 SLA4D 2.00GHz 667MHz
Ethernet: Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet
Wireless: WLAN (Dell) 1395 802.11/b/g (BCM4312)
Video: Intel GMA X3100
Display: WXGA TFT (Dell N876G)

I was able to install Snow Leopard 10.6.3 (haven't tried to update to 10.6.8) without using a bootpack, but lots of stuff doesn't work:

  • video is 1024x768, no kext loaded
  • ethernet doesn't work
  • wireless doesn't work
  • trackpad works, but there's no preference pane
  • no sound

PS. As a side note, it looks like the bookpacks for the Inspiron 6400/E1505 have been removed.  I've been using an E1505 that was installed with the 6400 bootpack and it works fine, why was it removed?    In fact, now that I look closer, all the Snow Leopard bootpacks have been removed.   Is this a permanent change or just temporary?
