aingard
Hey! Is it any chance to switch fan BIOS settings to manual one like "tpfancontrol" in windows? My T410s has a problem (as any t410s) with overheating, specially when i'm using my nvidia 310m dedicated card. But, in integral graphics, normal (good) settings in BIOS i can't watch youtube's video, cause my laptop is shutting down after 10 minutes. My question: any kext or program can help to change setings of fan? Please help. And greetings for you from Poland, this community is making great thing with hackintoshing! I'm sorry for any spelling mistakes.

aingard
Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that my laptop is dirty, I've a dog so... Dust is everywhere, you can only imagine. BUT, most problem comes when my NVS 3100M is running. Overheating is instant, and when fans are running ~~ 4500RPM...
Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 25, 2014 Administrators Share Posted November 25, 2014 you probably should check if the gpu heat sink needs fresh compound and maybe copper shims while you clean it out. also try finding an smbios profile closer to your graphics card if possible.
