TMNTony
I am having an issue with my desktop's speedstep. When I boot the system, it works just like it is supposed to to the best of my knowledge, but after it wakes from sleep, it is stuck at max speed. Any thoughts? Administrators Hervé Posted April 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 16, 2015 How did you configure CPU power management?
TMNTony
I am having trouble creating an SSDT. I am not sure if my CPU is supported by the newest version of ssdtPRGen.
Administrators Hervé Posted April 16, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 16, 2015 Arrandale CPUs operate the same way as Core2Duo, so no need of a generated SSDT. Just select P & C States generation in your boot plist using Chameleon Wizard, use a recent FakeSMC kext from Kozlek and opt for iMac11,1 or iMac11,3 SMBIOS profile. TMNTony
Those were the settings that I had, but it still operates at x20 2.66ghz after waking from sleep. the cpu also runs at a higher voltage after waking from sleep as well. Usually around 1.32 V.
Administrators Hervé Posted April 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 17, 2015 What version of FakeSMC are you using? Did you tune it? https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2673-performance-tuning-with-fakesmc/
TMNTony
I used a RehabMan version from march, and I tuned it, but I am still having issues with things after sleep though.
