naturalbboy Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 No idea whats going on but the past month my kernel_task has been eating up tons of ram and cpu usage. I've tried freeing up ram with Memory Clean, doing a sudo purge, and nothing seems to help so far.My specs:- Clover install (revision 3176) of Yosemite (10.10.3) - Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz LGA 1155 - OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular ATX Power Supply - Crucial m4 CT256M4SSD2 256GB SATA 6.0Gb/s SSD - Two Seagate 2TB HDD's - Corsair XMS3 Series 16GB DDR3-1333MHz - Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Motherboard - SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 - Antec Three Hundred Two ATX Mid Tower If there is more info needed to help, just explain to me how to get it and I will do so.
