fleetdc
I did everything I was suppose to do to install OSX on my Dell E6410 my BIOs A16 I have the intel Graphics card I also used a MAC compatible HD. I get to a point where it says 12 min then I get an error : An error occurred while extracting files from the package "Essentials.pkg". Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again I have quit the installer reformatted the drives and this error keeps showing up. I am not sure why I am following this guide https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7376-dell-latitude-e6410-yosemite-nvidiaintel/which are the steps I have been following not sure exactly what I am missing. Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 5, 2015 There's an issue with your USB Installer. Rebuild it and try again. Or you could copy Essentials.pkg overwriting the file on the Installer
