soullessrogue
My D620 has 2 batteries because a cc drive is useless to me, i had a build of 10.6.8 where the batteries displayed as if they were one and could get the percentage of total life. I'm now running 10.7.5 and it always shows the charging icon... Is there a kext or terminal command I can run to get a more accurate battery reading? Administrators Hervé Posted June 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 6, 2015 Well, first of all you did not specify which kext you're using... Then I suggest you look into the bootpacks I recently published and grab the battery manager kext from there.
soullessrogue
I'm sorry, i forgot to mention that I am using the Extra folder that you posted for the lowres D620 running Lion. I was on my phone when I posted earlier and wasn't thinking. Looks like I am using AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext
Administrators Hervé Posted June 7, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 7, 2015 You can try others like VoodooBattery of AppleSmartBatteryManager. All available on the web.
