Bashibazouk
Hi I've been able to install Snow Leopard and it seems to work ok until after I apply the Vostro 200 bootpack (after the 10.6.8 combo update). Then it won't boot. I entered boot -v at the OS X boot screen and saw a message "HFS+ file has bad magic number". I'm using the modded 1.0.16 bios and a GeForce GT210. This is different to the GT610 used in the build on this site - is there something additional I need to do make this work? Thanks
Administrators Hervé Posted June 22, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 22, 2015 Sounds like a cache issue. Try to boot Chameleon with -f flag.
Bashibazouk
Thanks for your help! I booted with -f -v and it was hanging at PCI Configuration Begin. I then tried npci=0x2000 and was able to boot. Now I have the same problem others have had with EDP where it says I have Clover installed as well as Chameleon. If that issue isn't sorted soon are there some additional kexts I can add or anything I can do to get close to where I would be if I could use EDP? Administrators Hervé Posted June 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 23, 2015 I've posted full packs that do not require EDP in my Vostro200 thread. You can use that.
