Joeminati
I have for the longest been trying to install the OSX Lion on the Dell LAtitude 13. Using unifail and such, it keeps freezing during the -V bootup process. Any idea on other Latitude setups that are compatible with the Latitude 13? Joeminati
I tried the myhack installer guide from the website and nothing. It only got me to the screen with the grey bar at the top and does not load after.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 11, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2011 then find IOATAFamily.kext from 10.6.7 or earlier also did you boot with with -v -x cpus=1 arch=i386
Joeminati
Okay I will insert the IOATAFamily.kext from my working Snow lion and insert it in the USB. As for the command, I also put in the commands, and nothing.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 11, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2011 funny enough i had a similar issue with ich9 i had to remove the drive.. connect it to a sata usb adapter and install that way, until i patched the dsdt enough to get ich9 support. Joeminati
I tried overwriting the IOATAFamily.kext and still nothing. The closest I got to getting it to work was the iFail LION L1 but didnt work because my harddrive was not an option to install to. :\
Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 11, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2011 exactly why i had to use the external adapter... but im sure it will install to a usb drive but it will be slow as molasses. when you get it sorted out though from usb you image it to the hdd
