kahnage Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 Hi all,I'm having a little trouble trying to find info on this, and would really appreciate any help.I am a retoucher, and have always worked on Mac's. My 2010 Mac Pro is needing replacement, and I have access to a Dell Precision T8710 workstation which I'd love to convert into a Hackintosh (if possible)........ 1st world problem I know The Dell has a recent Intel Xeon E5-2623 v3 3.00GHz CPU (Haswell), DDR4 2133Mhz ECC ram, 512GB SSD, AMD Firepro W7100, Dell motherboard (which is an unknown entity ?).I'd need a few more HDD's, but generally it's fairly well spec'd for my needs.If anyone has tried on one of these machines or something close ? (if there are relevant DSDT available)........ ?So far, from what I've read, I'm picking the AMD Firepro might be a bit of an issue ? AMD made specific versions of these cards for Mac, the W7100 is an 8GB PC card, but I'm imagining it's not mainstream enough to have any patches.
