REEMA
HI Everybody.. Id like to ask about Lenovo Z51 70 CPU Overclocking. anyone can advice in how we can do it .. is it via patching dsdt or ssdt files .. or how .. please we want to enrich this forum with lots of information and computer tactics and tricks to achieve good knowledge levels .. i use the edp ssdt and dsdt and config list file for the broadwell lenovo z51 70 ( not the amd ) and it is working fine (ver 10.11.3 (15D21). current processor speed is 2.4 GHz on Intel Core i7 and as i saw in the edp installer it can be overclocked to be 3.5 or 3.2 Ghz. thanks in advance for any help. Administrators Hervé Posted February 13, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2016 I guess you meant Turbo boost, not "overclocking". If Turbo boost, you need to generate your own CPU-specific SSDT with Pike R Alpha's well-known generator. The generator comes preset with support for a very big range of Intel Core CPUs. Identify your exact model of i7 CPU, then run the tool. http://ark.intel.com/products/codename/38530/Broadwell#@Mobile
