minhhien1996
I install El Capitan from the forum guide, I also change the DVMT to 96mb but it makes no effect. On my windows the dedicated video memory is 128mb and on OS X only 7mb, flickr and lag every where. I have just update to the newest dell bios, A12. Do i need to downgrade to an older bios? Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2016 No A12 is fine. Check DVMT again to see if it's set to 0x3. Make sure both 0x15b and 0x15c are set to 0x3.
minhhien1996
Vram is OK now. the first time I only change 0x15b.Now Vram is 1536mb But I have another problem. I run ssdtPrgen.sh (the newest version from github, b/c the version from the forum tool is old and can not indentified my cpu). I changed the config.plist in clover to my i5 cpu and Macbook Air 7,1 but In About This Mac it shows 'Macbook Pro..." and "Intel core i7". This only the display problem or OSX wrongly indentified my cpu as an i7?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2016 Use the beta version of ssdtprgen.sh link found in my E7450 guide. In the config file, change the CPU type to 0x0606 or just remove it.
