  1. I would also REALLY appreciate it if someone could help me with the GTX 560 (non-ti) GPU to get it working correctly on 10.6.8
  2. I dont suppose you know what exactly I have to do? =P I replaced the kernel with the one for amd, and Im pretty sure that I need to add the kexts too, but ill try to boot it and see if it works
  3. I thought MyHack was only for Intel based systems, but I'll give it a try.
  4. I have a new problem. The graphics card is not supported on 10.6.8, so I have to use 10.7.3 in order for it to work. I downloaded Niresh's 10.7.3 v2 and burned it to a disk. When I boot it starts to load and then get stuck on something and freezes. The last 10 lines are as follows... From path: "uuid", Waiting on IOProviderClassIOResourcesIOResourcesMatchboot-uuid-media Got boot device = IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0@180000/AppleACPIPCI/SATA@11/AppleAHCI/PR3@3/IOAHCIDevice@0/IOAHCSerialATAPI/IOSCSIPeripheralDeviceNub/IOSCSIPeripheralDeviceType05/IDVDServices/IODVDBlockStorageDriver/HP DVD Writer 1 BSD root: disk3s2, major 14, minor 9 HFS: Very Low Disk: feedblks: 0, dangerlimit: 109610 imageboot_setup_new: root image url is file:///BaseSystem.dmg IOHDIXController: NOTE: administrator is creating non-ejectable disk image KDIFileBackingStore::_handleStart: initial R/W vn_open returned 30 Imageboot_mount_image: root device 0xe00000d USBF: 6. 58 AppleUSBOHCI[0xcc5f000]::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unlocked across sleep
  5. Now Im hoping to solve my graphics problem. GraphicsEnabler=Yes did nothing. Im hoping with the help of all of you I will be able to fix this.
  6. I got it, not quite sure what I did, but my internet now works
  7. How do I "tick 'lspci -nn' in Terminal"?
  8. Its built into the motherboard. CPU: Phenom II X6 1040t Motherboard: ASUS M5A97
  9. I tried this, the system rebooted afterwards, and when my desktop loaded it still said that I could not connect to the internet. It does not even give me the option to use ethernet. I downloaded the RealtekRTL81xx-0_0_90 package, which seems to be the latest
  10. My motherboard has built in ethernet, and I'm pretty sure that I need to find a new kext for it, but have had no luck finding one on the internet. CPU: Phenom II X6 1040t Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
  11. Hello, I have some what successfully installed OS X on my AMD system. The only real problem is that my ethernet does not work.
  12. Hello Everybody, I have a problem I was hoping someone could help me solve. After I install OS X 10.6.3 on my computer I can not get Internet connection. I would understand this if I was using a wireless connection, but I'm using my ethernet cable. It still tells me that I don't have an internet connection and I don't know what to do.
