Thanks for answer Hervé. I tried with : AAPL,ig-platform-id 00001259 and device-id 16590000, black screen and reboot again and again. If i remove device-id line and let only the first one, i can access the desktop. In fact, on the first line, i can put anything, it can boot, only the second line give me a black screen and reboot -

Hi Jake, Again good news, slider is working. I think one file SSDT-PNLF or SSDT-ALS0 was corrupted. Compile it again, and all is working. I upgraded successfully to 10.13.6. Many thanks for help. PS : Please, what was the patches list you apply to my origin files ? -

Good news Jake, Trackpad is working great !! I just lose sound and I had to put back some files in clover/kext folder to make it work I will look which ones are mandatory. Your patched acpi files work, nice job. In monitor preferences, slider is not present. I am quite sure I saw it working.... so many manipulations, I can't remember what was done. Here are ioreg files. Thanks for all 5590_after.ioreg 5590_before.ioreg -

Hi Bronxteck, Thanks for your answer, i just started to work on this. I managed to boot it with clover but after 3 months practice about patching, i have not understood yet what are the mandatory patchs to apply on origin files (got with Clover F4) as quoted in your message "plus your standard laptop issues like back light, audio, WiFi, bt, track pad/keyboard (these might be on an i2c bus) sleep/wake/shutdown, power management" I applied patchs in clover boot (no acpi patching) but for example, to have trackpad running need to patch DSDT file, and i would like to apply the patchs in clover directly in acpi. I can attach Origin folder if needed. Many thanks for help -
Hi everyone, Has somebody successfully installed High Sierra on a Dell 5590 (coffee Lake processor equiped i5-8250U) ? Regards

Ok thanks Jake, I started to practice patching using your advices. Many problems encountered were with the numerous syntax errors even if you try to recompile without modifying anything. For some of them, i don't know what to do (to remove) in the code ?? -
