    Don't ask me how, but after installing Mavericks 10.9.1 on my Asus k52jr laptop, with Elan v2 touchpad, IT WORKS! All functions. Totally weird, found out by accident.

    I would like to apply to be a beta tester for the kexts for version 2 hardware. I have an Asus K52JR, i3 laptop. I get error upon boot -v that says my hardware is version 2 (0x040102) elan firmware version 262402
