  1. Hi Black.Dragon, I tried the DSDT and changing ig-platform and the results are the same; trackpad not working and brightness control only after wake from sleep. I attached the debug files. As for the trackpad, it is an Alps as seen in the image below (touchpad river in Windows). Thank you for your help. Note: Sorry for the delay, I've been very busy this past days and could not test and repond as quickly. debug_3399_before_sleep.zip debug_16952_after_sleep.zip
  2. Hi, With the modifications suggested still no luck for trackpad or backlight control. Here are the debug files. debug_10285_after_sleep.zip debug_986_before_sleep.zip
  3. Hi Black.dragon74 I tried both suggestions and the results are still the same. If you have any more suggestions to propose I will test them. Thanks
  4. Hi here's my report, Using the parched DSDT/SSDT of BIOS 1.6.5 I couldn't get the trackpad to work with latest Voodoo kext from rehabman. It wasn't working with ApplePS2 in Clover folder as well. I still can't get backlight control to work if not waking from sleep. Here are the report files using your latest DSDT Jake. debug_31697_before_sleep.zip debug_12771_after_sleep.zip
  5. I also updated to BIOS 1.6.5 and it effectively seems more responsive ( in Windows). @Jake_Lo When you get the time, could you also take a look at my origin folder since I have HD520? Thanks in advance. origin_BIOS1.6.5_HD520.zip
  6. @Abraxis Backlight control works OK?
  7. @Bronxteck in my case brightness control works only after waking from sleep for some reason. Otherwise at boot there's only two level possible, either full backlight or minimal backlight. @abraxis Do you only have working backlight control after waking from sleep ?
  8. @abraxis I think it's the same issue I have, the brightness is actually so low you coudl think there's no output at all. If you use a flash light ( from a smartphone per example) you will see it's on the login screen. @black.dragon74 We used ssdt-pnlf in patched folder from jake lo's bootpack.
  9. @abraxis Yes in my case closing the lid activates sleep (takes about 20 second to get in sleep, before it's just the screen that is off). Only with the bootpack Jake Lo posted.
  10. Yes it was the same with 7x70 bootpack.
  11. Here are the results. It's still the same concerning the trackpad, still deactivated after wake from sleep but else it's okay. However backlight becomes way more erratic. It boots with the screen at the lowest brightnes, almost pitch black. I had to do a hard reset to get the backlight at a normal level. Still can't control it if not waking from sleep. That was for both the DSDTs. It has also happened with the original DSDT. The backlight issue (power management in general?) is actually the most troublesome. DSDT-Tests.zip
  12. Trackpad and keyboard do not work at all with that kext.
  13. Hi Jake. Headphones audio now works perfectly even before sleep. Trackpad behaviour is still the same as before ( and no trackpad preference as well).
  14. Here are the files. I did some more testing and this is what i found. Normal boot -> Trackpad OK, backlight and headphones audio NOK Wake from sleep-> Trackpad NOK, backlight and headphones audio OK Reboot after wake from sleep -> Trackpad NOK, backlight and headphones audio NOK<------> Normally the trackpad should be okay as a normal boot. This behaviour stays trough multiple reboots ( tried 4 times). I ran the debug in that state as well, you will find it in attachement. If I turn off the computer and start it manually, it behaves once again as a normal boot. So once trackpad is deactivated because of sleep, it will stay in that state until the computer is turned off completely. Note: i saved manually the ioregs each time so the one after reboot should be the same as the one in the generated debug archive. ioReg_Before_Sleep.zip Ioreg_After_sleep.zip ioReg_After_reboot.zip debug_4858_After_reboot.zip
