  1. I believe he means the Tap Drag feature, when you touch and hold to start a drag action.I myself have previously mentioned it here some time ago: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1948-elan-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/page-18&do=findComment&comment=23439 I also believe that an option to disable this in the plist would be ideal, since it seems to cause more problems than advantages.
  2. Go to "System Preferences" > "Trackpad" and move the "Scroll speed" slider, then it'll work again. I faced the same problem after updating and this worked for me. Here's where (Portuguese language, sorry):
  3. Hi, Regarding mavet1's problem, I can confirm that this also happens for me (K45VM, v4 hardware). It seems that this is caused by the "Tap drag" feature: Sometimes it triggers even while the cursor is moving. I searched through the plist options but couldn't find a way to disable it. I always use only double tap to drag, so disabling "tap drag" would fix the problem for me. Once again, thanks EMlyDinEsH for your hard work on this.
  4. Hello, I faced a similar problem on an ASUS K45VM, until I figured out that I was using the "wrong" Fn key. Try using the right context key (the one between <CTRL> and <ALT>) as Fn and see if it works for you. In my case it works this way: the "real" Fn works with F1, F2 and F7; all the other F keys work only with the right context key. And for backlight control support, it is possible that you may need to edit your DSDT to include a PNLF section. @EMlyDinEsH Thanks for your hard work on this!
