JakeLo - Sent you a message i need a bit of help - my installer usb drive is a mess with all the different files from the old setup in the laptop. i now have a i7-4700mq processor instead of the i5 and a broadcom 4322 which is seen by osx natively. can you help me out here with what i need?

Well I guess I just had a scare - pressed what I innocently thought was the Fn-f8 button to change dual display options in windows - only to find out that the computer crashed hard and I had to power off and on twice to get back into Mac OS X properly. D'oh!

So I deleted IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup and AppleALC from Clover/Kexts as well added the appleHDA file you gave me to /L/E and ran your script, saw the file be added. said it needed a reboot so I rebooted and now I have no audio at all. any suggestions Edit - Copied AppleALC back into clover/kexts and have audio. will test to see if its just with laptop speakers or through cdmi now. HDMI Audio not available - laptop speakers work

possible development - in Clover/Kexts/Other there is no IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext file but there is the other one. I will delete the other file as instructed Edit - Also no AppleALC.Kext in same folder - cannot delete files that aren't there to begin with. Edit 2 - Found files in Clover/Kexts - Have now been removed.

I do not have an Hdmi audio output setting - however I just also finished doing some updates and OSX still works like a charm. just need to fix hdmi output and anything else you may think I need and we will be good to go!

Yes I copied kexts over I’ll use the script now see if that changes anything. (Audio works on laptop just not on tv)

HDMI video to tv works but the audio doesn’t

Only issue now is that HDMI audio still goes through laptop instead of tv and keys don’t act as they should. Any way to fix this?
